Educational Profile


Education is the right of every child in Cameroon. There are schools run by state or subsidized by government to provide free education to children. The education system in Cameroon is much a mix of French and British education. Cameroon has one of the highest school attendance rates in Africa; however, girls are less regular in attending school than boys. The education in Southern Cameroon is better than northern part.
